as i grew older, i began to question whether there was anything i could give the world that has not already been given by someone else.

amongst my loved ones, i always felt that the greatest thing i could share was my thoughts, opinions, beliefs and the pillars through which i view the world, as they were always the foundation of the most meaningful conversations. as i created more and more relationships, i realized that this idea remained true, even on a larger scale;

sometimes, the best thing we could share with the world is a discussion of how we see it.

through a deep interest in fashion, i learned that those mind-to-mind connections could be created from a simple comment on or question about what someone is wearing, particularly when a piece is aesthetically pleasing and displays meaningful symbolism.

it is through this revelation that i created the outlet that is kouri.

when one joins the outlet, one possesses a piece that says something. every piece is made to invoke thought in the wearer, specifically about how the concept presented through the capsule has brought or can bring value to them or the people around them.

to make a long explanation short:

this is much more than clothes.

this is my outlet.

this is our outlet.

this is the outlet.
